Mark Dacascos stars in this outrageously violent martial arts adventure with vaguely science-fiction overtones. Taking unemployed songwriter Kadeem Hardison hostage, superhuman fighter Dacascos goes on the run and battles endless acrobatic villains for no reason whatsoever. Forget the story — it's the endless parade of Jackie Chan-style stunts, hard-core gore and bizarre humour, superbly woven together by director Steve Wang, that matter in this turbo-charged Lethal Weapon clone.

  • Frenetic, stunt-crammed, tongue-in-cheek, over-the-top martial arts thriller with an invincible hero and gun-toting bad guys who couldn't hit a barn door at three paces; it is the sort of film where a gang of killers burst through the windows of a nightcl

    Low budget fodder

I had hoped for better than this. Yes the martial arts are above-average but that is the only think that makes this film bearable. Acting is awful and the characters were terrible to watch. I felt like I was watching one of those 80s low-budget action flicks with Dolph Lundgren in it. Even one of the lead bad-guys has long hair and a cowboy hat and cowboy shoes. The whole thing is very amateur and best avoided.

    Incredible fight scenes

This film reminded me a lot of the film 'Rush hour' with its formula of two male leads, martial arts and comedy.

The choreography of the fight scenes are incredible throughout, with a special mention being made to the last scene where my jaw very nearly hit the ground. Not many action films feature fight scenes as impressive as this.

Don't worry about the plot, if you enjoy martial arts and comedy, then make sure you don’t miss this.
