A marmite of a film.
By morebees (15 reviews) from Derby , 17 Mar 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Well, I absolutely loved this film. Simple idea, but hilarious & heartwarming. Great casting, directing & dialogue. I would recommend to everyone who is interested in this film to watch it and make their own minds up about it. I guess it's a lot like our notorious British 'Yeasty' spread ~ you either love it or hate it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Totally lovely!
By a customer , 02 Dec 2012A lovely film with the wonderful Julie Walters who can do no wrong in my opinion. It was slow and a tad depressing to start but grew into a lovely, funny, silly film.- Was this review helpful to you?

A Gem!
By Bailey29 (5 reviews) , 30 Sep 2012Beautiful, poignant and very very funny. Good to see Rupert Grint in something other than Harry Potter. Julie Walters was just amazing. Just sit and let this lovely story flow around you.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great comedy
By a customer , 29 Aug 2012What an absolute joy, almost the perfect film. English, low budget, lovely story, Julie Walters and Rupert Grint brilliant. A great comedy, bit like an English Woody Allen.- Was this review helpful to you?
