So who's for snot flicking?By JediSi (301 reviews) from Kent , 31 Aug 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]Drop Dead Fred is a side-splittingly uproarious film, starring Rik Mayall as the extraordinary lead role - Drop Dead Fred. After splitting up with her boyfriend and losing her job, Elizabeth reluctantly returns to her mother's house. After unearthing a taped up jack-in-the-box in the cupboard, Drop Dead Fred escapes from his solitary confinement, and explodes into freedom ... only bedlam can follow.
Drop Dead Fred is a movie that was made for fun, to be enjoyed, laughed at, and respected for reminding us that we need to lighten up occasionally and, while not necessarily flinging spaghetti in a nice restaurant, act like children every once in a while to prevent ourselves from being driven insane by the fast-paced society in which we live.
Have fun peeps

Funny film!By Kathryn Richards from Soth Wales , 01 Jun 2006I remember watching this film when I was younger, and when I was updating my list I decided to put this on it. Rik Mayall is hilarious, although a little annoying in the film. He's a funny guy, and it's a cracking film to watch.
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!By Ju from London , 26 Apr 2006I saw this when it came out and thought that it might have aged badly.
Hurrah! It hasn't! It is still brilliant, actually it is better than my memory of it.
I expected to cringe and be really uncomfortable, but it was hilarious and as an adult the story sat better than it did when I was younger.
Rik Mayall is fantastic - I think this is up there with his performances in the Young Ones.
An old classic!!By a customer from Newbury, England , 01 Apr 2006The first time I watched this I was very young and remembered thinking how much I wanted an imaginary friend! Its full of 'one liners!' and whether your 12 years old or 50 years old it will always make you laugh with its constant silly humour! Love it!!
Great Funny Classic!By Scott Cook from East Midlands, United Kingdom , 23 Feb 2006Loved this back when it was on video and just seeing it again on DVD quality makes it even funnier!
