I know the news is not current, though it was when this first came out - so current that it was only recorded the day before transmission. There are so many great lines, stemming either from a news situation or one of the characters's 'personality'.
My children couldn't decide whether they liked easygoing gambling addict Dave or his amoral friend (whose name briefly escapes me, but you'll know who I mean when I tell you he often 'stages' news events for him to film). I have to say, I share their views.
All of the characters are such fabulous parodies of people you meet every day. The writers have such a gift for bringing them to life on screen.
