Top Gun with DrumsBy Goosfraba from London , 16 Jun 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]Summary: Good harmless fun and very inventive use of drums - well choreographed shame about the script
Detail: About a very talented boy who comes from a deprived background that likes playing with his instrument and wants to join others of a like mind. There is a bit of a love interest going on and lots of rythm.
I went into this wondering how they could keep my interest in a band for 2 hours but in the end I found myself tapping my foot and moving to the rythm. This film skims through most of the characters so don't expect anything too deep - just lots of good catchy music

drummers paradise in snare drum techniqueBy Steve400 (17 reviews) , 03 Feb 2013
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideGood story, very americanized, but definitely worth a look. Much more interesting if you are a drummer yourself, some quite skilful playing in the film (not necessarily played by the actors themselves!)
pretty racey and excitingBy faith (139 reviews) from uk , 14 Jul 2008as an adult i may have found it a bit juvenile but it still brought back some good high school memories. it had some funny bits and good teenage i know everything you can't tell me what to do stuff but the lead character eventually got over it the hard way maybe but nevertheless survived it.
pretty good, racey the fusion of colour was a bit blinding so tone down the colour feature if you can when watching it.
Buy this movie for your sons!By a customer from Sandwell, West Midlands , 12 Jul 2007An excellent movie that demontrates that sheer talent is sometimes not enough to suceed, but the academic ability also needs inspiration. A good family movie with mild sex scenes, excelent cast and music - Oh to be in an American college!
One to buy!By a customer from Sandwell, West Midlands , 12 Jul 2007The integration of traditional and contemporary music in this American college movie was very good. Makes you want to get up and dance! Excellent storyline, odd mild sexual scene but definately one for the children to watch - particularly the boys.
Not badBy a customer from England , 10 Jun 2007An above average high school movie. Great if you like drummers and high school issues.
