Truly abysmal. Donnie Yen arrives on the scene in Yuen woo ping disaster devoid of laughs or decent action. A tremendous waste of talent, badly acted, choreographed and filmed. Worst of all is the editing which is so poor as to be an insult to the audience. A real dog. The fact that it can even be released let alone regarded as a classic by HK film fans is a mystery to me. Resist the temptation even if you are a completist as you will turn it off after a quick scan through the films many unconvincing and often incomprehensible fight scenes. Urghh!!
