Entertaining but predictableBy Christopher Eldergill from Weston - Super - Mare , 18 Aug 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]What would you expect from a film with Sean William Scott & Jonny Knoxville, a few obvious jokes, some car chases and a little action. It's worth watching and I'd probably watch it again, but the storyline was predictable and it's exactly what you'd expect.

Not quite, but nearlyBy Squeak (34 reviews) from Norfolk , 22 Apr 2008The Dukes of Hazzard movie has a different spin to it than the TV show. It plays on wider playing field than the TV show in the fact that they actually leave Hazzard County for other parts of the state. Good stunts, good fights and good one liners.
Harmless fun!By Wifey (2 reviews) from Ripon , 13 Apr 2008Better than the first remake. Good clean fun!
Absolutely awfulBy a customer from Worthing , 15 Mar 2008If you like the original TV series do NOT watch this. It is nothing like it, neither Boss Hogg, Rosco or Enos are anything like their original characters, Rosco came across as pure evil rather than a loveable slightly bent sheriff. Bo is not cutesy and seems to be sprouting a sand paper beard. Luke is just annoying. And Daisy? Why Jessica Simpson? Why.
Why make a good TV series (which is still entertaining to watch today) into a dumbed down naff film?
We switched off after the first half hour, it really is that bad. If you've never seen the original and want a dumb tits and ass film then you might find this enjoyable. Not sure what the plot was supposed to be, but as they start off running moonshine its not even close to the proper storyline.
Seems like a cash in on the original without any of the original magic. Not even remotely funny.
Dukes of HazardBy a customer from Reading , 24 Jan 2008quite good film but preferred the older version. still worth a watch.
Light-hearted funBy a customer from Northumberland, England , 23 Jan 2008A good way to spend an hour and a half, but not a classic movie. The laughs keep coming although, as with the original TV servies, you have to suspend reality to really enjoy this.
