A children's film which hits all the right spots, a good lead boy actor, a slightly suspect older black man who befriends him in the desert, and an animal actor that's up there with most of the Disney entourage. Slightly weak plotting but hey the kids ain't gonna mind, it's one for them to really enjoy.
