Dumb And Dumberer
Lowbrow buffoonery hit commercial highs with 1994's DUMB AND DUMBER. This prequel to the slapstick favorite imagines the immortal meeting of the mindless when Harry Dunne (Derek Richardson) and Lloyd Christmas (Eric Christian Olsen) were high schoolers. After becoming fast friends, the pair of future dog groomers are recruited for a special needs class. Unfortunately, this class is not a radical educational experiment. Rather, it's a moneymaking scheme exploiting Harry and Lloyd's intellectual deficiencies. The conniving Principal Collins (Eugene Levy) has singled out the two clowns to boost special needs enrollment--a scam to bring more educational funds to the school. Collins plans to use those funds to supplement an exotic vacation with his mistress, the lunch lady Mrs. Heller (Cheri Oteri). When Mrs. Heller is put in charge of the class, a news staff student, Jessica (Rachel Nichols), begins to investigate. Using the witless duo for inside information, Jessica becomes an oblivious object of affection for her sources Harry and Lloyd.

Third division remake of Dumb and Dumber with more jokes about bodily functions than you can flush away.

Bad Idea
This is what happens when you take a successful movie and make a prequal/sequal without the original actors. This film is really just 2 guys doing impressions of Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. It is terrible and does not deserve your time or the single star!!

Brainless fun, but fun none the less
Trying to compare Dumb and Dumberer to anything but its prequel would be impossible as both inhabit the same gross out, yet sweet world.
With no Daniels and Carrey to carry the film its left up to two unknown actors to take their roles. They do well with what little material they have. The support cast is very underused and contains some quite well known faces so it is suprising when they are hardly in it.
Some of the jokes don't work but for the most part they do. If you like your humour very juvenile, then this could be for you. -
