Pleasantly Surprised!

A very good film. Quirky and funny in places with good strong performances from Adrien Brody who does very well as the lead his real personality only comes through when he has his dummy to speak for him plus Milla Jovovich easily steals each scene as the foul-mouthed, fatigue-clad, shoplifting, exuberant and wild Fanny, who lives for her punk music. In my opinion her best performance by a mile! But to be honest all the actors even those in the minor roles do very well. Oh also Vera Farmig is very easy on the eye!!
