Having reunited in 2003 with their original line-up, Duran Duran follow up with a collection of their videos. Masters of the format, the band undoubtably owe a sizeable part of their reputation to lavish productions such as the "Wild Boys," "Girls on Film," and "Rio" videos. This collection gathers together a variety of material, including the full-length original videos, as well as alternate versions, outtakes, interviews, television appearances, and a large amount of DVD-ROM material. Offering a fascinating history of the band, this collection runs through their 80s teen-superstardom, to their more considered, adult-contemporary material from the 90s, and leaves the future wide-open for the reconvened band to once again add a further fascinating chapter to the Duran Duran story.

Just what was expected. A good dvd full of brilliant Duran music. Some of the tracks I had not heard before.
A great collection of videos that show that DD were ahead of the game back in the 80's when it came to making good videos.
Most videos of th time looked as if they were made on a ZX Spectrum, with plenty of the computers' 48k left over.
DD obviously spent a fortune on making these mini-films although there is the odd duffer. The debut 'Planet earth' tries to look like Supermans Home up in the north pole but looks more like Coopermans'.
Girls on Film (2 Versions) is great, plenty of girl-on-girl action (banned by the BBC and earnt this DVD an 18 cert).
Rio is fab, but one of the best here is 'The Chauffeur', the best DD single that never was', very much influenced by Helmut Newton and The Night Porter.
Wildboys is DD's hard-rock attempt at upstaging Jacko's Thiller and nearly succeeds.
The other gems are Come Undone and Skin Trade.
Have a look at this DVD.
