If John Woo had gone to Bollywood instead
By nealmc (14 reviews) from Birmingham , 02 Apr 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
It's always disappointing when titans of world cinema go to Hollywood and become shadows of their former selves. Whilst I can understand the desire for a fresh challenge - Hollywood sucks out originality and waters down vision.
I loved Dus, it was like prime time John Woo - Hong Kong style heroic bloodshed (although without much blood). If you're looking for a crossover to ease you into Bollywood, this is highly recommended. Great performances, a good story gripping and tense - and plenty of 'John Woo' -style freeze frames lingering on the heroes.

(46)Such an outdated attempt to make something different
By a customer from mid glamorgan , 23 Mar 2009This film is one of those enormous error films by bolywood in an attempt to make something different or cool. It wasn't cool nor refreashing barely watchable. Action was lousy and so was the whole package- Was this review helpful to you?

Terrible Movie!!
By a customer from Hertfordshire , 16 Nov 2007This film is terrible!! You can't make sense of the story and the direction is ridiculous.
Sanjay Dutt just looks awful and completely put me off the film.
The sound is terrible also which makes it even more tacky!!!
I thought with a cast like this it would be a great movie but unfortunately not!!- Was this review helpful to you?
