I always love Jaqueline wilson books but i never got round to reading Dustbin Baby on th tv so i thought i might as well watch it and i was so happy i did its really good and i even a tear in my eye at the end i really wanted it to go on, Jacqueline Wilson Fans will love this movie usually the films are nowere near as good as the book, so the book must be brilliant

fantastic film

I have never read the book but now I've seen the film I may read it. This film is an emotional compelling and brilliant work of art. The actresses, especially the ones who play April, are fantastic. The story line is an emotional and moving one and the actresses who plays April make it believable and moving. I am a 30 year old male and never watch these type of films as I am into my action, martial arts, and Sci-Fi films but even I shed a few tears at the end of this great British film and I'm not ashamed to say either. All the actresses bonded well to make thier characters believable. What a great film, I recommend it even if you don't normally watch this type of movie.
