(5)Guilty pleasure
By rtb (131 reviews) from London , 23 Sep 2010After a dreary start with the feature-length pilot, and an equally dreary first series, 'Dynasty' cranks up the camp with the arrival on the scene of Joan Collins as the arch-bitch Alexis Colby, The storylines move into high octane incredibility as the tangled bloodlines and relationships of the Carrington and Colby clans start to unravel. Some of the acting is risible (particularly from Pamela Sue Martin as the trampy Fallon Colby) but who cares? Just as you start to think that things couldnt possibly get more complicated - they do! In practically every episode.
La Collins's costumes get more and more outrageous and the plots get ever cheesier as the series builds to a multiple cliffhanger involving stolen babies, mad relatives, mysterious foreigners, dodgy business deals, tangled paternity issues and dicky tickers! Compulsive viewing - a real guilty pleasure. Bring on Series 3!- Was this review helpful to you?

Final Episodes of Seson Two
By MrGiles2 (62 reviews) from Middlesbrough , 20 Jan 2010Ending season two on a high, this series started to go from strength to strength as Alexis Carrington (Joan Collins) continues her campaign against her former husband Blake Carrington.
This was also the final season for actor Al Corley's role as Steven Carrington as he disappears into the unknown, although the character does return later played by another actor.
I must mention that there is a hilarious scene between Alexis and Cecil Colby(Lloyd Bochner) near the end of the final episode which ends, well I wont spoil it for you, see it anyway.
Look out for the cliffhangers which end the season. Good viewing all round.- Was this review helpful to you?
