Two words: Absolutely sensational. This is the Thierry Henry of medical dramas. I cannot find enough words to describe ER in general, let alone this particular season. Nothing comes close to ER - the producers of Casualty and Holby City can only watch and weep at the pure perfection shown here. Casting, acting, screenplay, sets - everything about ER just screams top notch quality. This is yet another 22 episodes of pure TV gold - some programmes/films on DVD deserve five stars - this deserves much, much more. If you are in love with ER youd better book the church, because this is your engagement party.
We join Hathaway as she copes with life as a single mother. Greene has family problems of his own, having to deal with the loss of his mother and the uncertain future of his father. We see the first of Abby Lockhart as an OB nurse, soon to become a med student. Rocket Romano throws his weight around but also shows his human side (yes, really!), Chen returns with a new name, Boulet finds a family
its all non-stop as usual.
There are some departures, however. The impossibly cute Lucy Knight (Kellie Martin) leaves the show, along with two other favourites, Boulet (Gloria Reuben) and Hathaway (Julianna Margulies) - much loved characters who will be sorely missed. But life must go on
we look forward to seeing Season Seven on DVD being wheeled into our homes on a gurney
and not soon enough!
I've watched all the series and they just get better and better.
If you haven't watched this series yet, you'd better, you don't want to miss anything
