No standard affair
Having expected an obvious plot, this film actually has some unexpected twists in it. Loyalties change when the teacher dies and a tradition is broken. The rival Mantis Fist school take advantage of this and some interesting conversations take place that make you think.
The action is not spectacular, but there is a lot of it. There is also a great deal of character development which really pulls this film together if you look past the usual fun dubbing. -
