Eagles: Farewell Tour - Live From Melbourne Reviews

What a treat for the ears, Classic eagles.

If you liked 'Hell freezes over', then you will love this. There are a lot more tracks on this title and it has two discs. Although some of the tracks from 'H.F.O.' are repeated here,there are plenty more,classic tracks to listen to,and the musical performances are excellent. It would be unfair not to mention the DTS sound track, which, is absolutely superb, Crystal clear with rich deep Bass, and good surround positioning. Other bands should pay attention to the quality of sound on the Eagles DVDs, not many get even close.

In short dont even rent it, just go buy it, you will not be dissapointed.

If your a fan of the eagles just buy it you will not regret it i promise!!!!!!

BETTER THAN HELL FREEZES OVER!

If you're an Eagles fan, this is a must see concert. Lots of classics, perfect delivery, excellent 5.1. A bit of a 'cabaret performance' and not all the crew are present - but hey, the've made their mark so just sit back and wallow in the the complete production. (On the down side - Don Henley really shouldn't be allowed to even touch a guitar!)

Eagles ...amazing!!

the most liked aspect in the DVD was the sound. how i wish if i could get a chance to pass my ' HATS OFF ' to the sound engineer of their live shows. bass, as always, and the new drummer...and ofcourse, all others are playing excellent!

i watched this dvd but didn't find it very good at all

I could not wait for this second disc to arrive and watched it over and over. Am lucky enough to have got tickets to see them in Glasgow in June 2006.........cannot wait. Keep rocking guys!!

best concert dvd ?

is this the best live concert dvd you will ever see ? well i think it is the best concert you will ever see, picture wise, sound wise (dts 5 stars) and song wise.no ifs or buts and no more to say.

what a performance!

I have watched cdisc 1 and 2 and I am overwhelmed. The photography and sound were great, no wonder they have been at the top since the seventies. One thing I liked was that the camera kept off the audience as much as possible, usually we see more of them than the artistsI watched it on a denon dvd player, the 290, bit pricey but it upscales, I love that phrase, to hd quality. 1121. Until they get the format for hd dvds sorted this is the way forward,

Good show

This is a good show by the eagles,but it would have been nice to have received disk 1 first.

The eagles get better with age.

They should keep doing farewell performaces

till they drop.

the boys are certainly older , but wow the sounds are just the same , really great concert!
