Jack Nicholson, Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper smoked real cannabis during a scene for movie classic Easy Rider. Fonda has confessed the trio used "real pot" to capture the moment Nicholson's character tries the drug for the first time. Dennis Hopper was first diagnosed with cancer nine years ago, the acting icon has revealed. The Easy Rider legend's manager Sam Maydew confirmed the star had prostate cancer last month (Oct09) after Hopper had been admitted to hospital suffering from "severe flu-like symptoms". Dennis Hopper is back on his feet just a day after he was hospitalised in New York suffering from "severe flu-like" symptoms. The 73 year old was taken to a medical centre in the city on Wednesday (30Sep09), complaining of stomach pains, while promoting his new TV show Crash.
