Shockingly bigotted gratuitously horrible waste of time

The anti working class, and anti north-of-London sentiments were better expressed in comedy show Big Train's spoof of The Birds in which the terrifying feathered creatures are traded in for flat cap wearing navvies. It also has considerabley more taste and good humour to it, precisely because it's IRONIC. Sadly the same can't be said for this painful -on so many levels- waste of celluloid which paints EVERY SINGLE northerner as some kind of backwards, perverse and mentally retarded pyschopath. As well as the banal and offensive stereotypes on offer here, there is little else of any intelligence to redeem it. Shame, I expected better.
