Ek Hi Rasta was the first movie independently produced by B.R.Chopra, under his own banner B.R.Films. It covered the bold subject of widow remarriage, which won it wide accolades. Malti (Meena Kumari) and Amar (Sunil Dutt) are happily married to each other, with a loving child Raja. Amar works for Prakash (Ashok Kumar), a bachelor and a genuine human being who becomes their close family friend. One day Amar catches Bihari (Jeevan) and his accomplice red handed while trying to cheat the company and he has them taken to task. They in turn decide to avenge their humiliation, resulting in huge upheavals for this family that none could foresee.

class film...

shows how low ppl can stoop on the name of revenge & jealousy, also show the worst side of how society can treat a widower........

Good film good songs... the kid is funny too.

there were some funny scenes to i'll let you find them
