Elephant White

Considering who's in this film; Kevin Bacon, Djimon Hounsou, I had hoped that even if it was not necessarily the greatest film in the world, it would, at the very least be decent. Unfortunately, serious pacing issues, and seriously odd plot twists amount for a film which is simply boring. Not to mention the sound-track, which genuinely consists of a single five or so minute clip which is constantly put on repeat during any action sequence. These however, although, again not mind-blowing, are relatively well done, with much better pace, intense fist-fights, and some (if slightly over used) sniper sequences adding some variation to the other-wise near static film. The acting, especially from the young girl that accompanies is pretty appalling, and gets very irritating, very quickly. Bacon however, as always, brings his natural charisma and charm, whilst sporting a very stereotypical 'English' accent, - it works, but only after you get used to hearing, in affect, a completely different voice come out of Bacon's mouth. In the end you're left with a mediocre action B-movie, which fails to carry any of the charm which they made so famous. If you still want to watch it fine, but as I did, I recommend you do so in two or three hits.

This film started off ok until Kevin Bacon appeared. Has to the worst EVER English accent. So unecessary and completely ruined the film, as there was reason he even had to be English. Don't go there!

bacon is a great actor and can adapt to any role he's in, but this film could have been so much better

Extremely boring film, and extremely poor acting especially by kevin bacon, he used to be good, what happened. Dont watch waiste of time.

This rubbish must have been filmed by children who had been blindfolded, the camera work is bad beyond belief. The acting is like a rehearsal after binge drinking for a month. As for Kevin Bacon, well he was so bad and the english accent so poor I almost cried, what was he thinking or was he even thinking, I'm dumfounded!

I would not infect my player with this drivel, I would urge Love film to destroy all copies they hold.
