    Dame Helen Mirren is reportedly set to reprise her role as Queen Elizabeth II in an upcoming film about Indira Gandhi. Mirren, who won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Elizabeth in 2006 movie The Queen, is being lined up to tackle the role again in Mother: The Indira Gandhi Story, a two-part biopic about the former Indian prime minister, who was assassinated in 1984.     Director Diablo Cody is set to bring 1990s TV teen drama Sweet Valley High to the big screen. The popular series, adapted from the books by Francine Pascal, ran from 1994 to 1997, chronicling the lives of twin high school students Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield in California. Now Juno director Cody is in talks with bosses at Universal to transform the tales into a feature length movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Read more

    Hollywood actor Daniel Baldwin is a new dad - his wife Joanne gave birth to a baby girl on Friday morning (07Aug09). The couple welcomed little Finley Rae Martineau Baldwin at 9.35am (local time) at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
