Ella singing with the Duke in 1968 and with Benny Goodman (plus an all star formation) in 1958 in rare TV performances, and three bonus tracks of Ella on TV in 1965 - all for the first time ever on DVD. There are also two tracks of Ella with the Jimmie Jones Trio; one with the Duke Ellington Trio; and a track with Ella and Jo Stafford - with a Goodman sextet featuring Red Norvo.

The Ellington band featured : Cat Anderson, Cootie Williams, Herbie Jones, Mercer Ellington, Lawrence Brown, Buster Cooper, Chuck Connors, Russell Procope, Johnny Hodges, Jimmy Hamilton, Paul Gonsalves, Harry Carney, etc. The Benny Goodman band featured: Harry James, Billy Butterfield, Buck Clayton, Lou McGarity, Urbie Green, Eddie Bert, Zoot Sims, Hank Jones, Kenny Burrell, George Duvivier, etc.
