  The King is dead - Long live the King

  Elvis as I want to remember him. The voice, the songs, the body movements, the curl of the lip, the leather suit - it is all there and more. Terrific performance in front of a live audience which pre-dates all the unplugged performances by some modern 'stars'.
  
  Standing/sitting on a small stage with the Jordanaires he trades jokes with them while surrounded by the audience, he is totally at home and relaxed.
  
  Only get disc 2 and 3 if you are REAL fanatic as it is the same show in front of different audiences - otherwise do not bother.
  
  He was unique, nobody can match him.

  Elvis a Lean, Mean, Singing Machine

  Wow!!! What can I say. This is Elvis at his absolute best. He is at the peak of his physical fitness in this 'Special', looking about the best of his career. His voice was on fantastic form.
  
  I am sure any true Elvis fan would agree that this is one of their favourite performances from the King.
  
  If you want to enjoy Elvis without those terrible plots, then get this. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I enjoyed it so much I went out and bought it.
