Great documentary
An excellent insight into the man, Elvis Presley.
Packed with interviews with his backing singers and others who knew the man and his faith.
It is interesting to hear people saying good things, rather than trying to cash in by digging up dirt. Needless to say that means this won't be headline grabbing material, but allows a personal perspective on the positive side of Elvis.
The voice as always is amazing.
I did think the two parts should have made one good documentary, as the songs and clips get repeated and that means it does lose a star or two. -

ELVIS SUNG ROCK`N`ROLL ELVIS SUNG THE BLUES BUT WHEN HE SINGS GOSPEL YOU CAN CLOSE YOUR EYES AND RELAX AND LOSE YOURSELF THIS IS A DVD THAT WILL HELP TAKE AWAY YOUR TROULBES AND ENJOY A QUITE PIECE OF MIND

This DVD is a must for any fan of Elvis. A fascinating insight into the other musical side of Elvis. It shows his true passion for gospel music and song. The programme is well presented by the maker and enjoyable to watch. The DVD is one of two volumes, and the first DVD will make you want to see the next.

Well worth a view...
The reviews for once are spot on with this title. An absolutely fascinating documentary and one of the few to feature the man himself and his music.The gospel music is Presley at his very best and the candid interviews from those around him both interesting and at times surprisingly moving.The best Elvis documentary Ive seen.

DON'T BOTHER WITH VOLUME ONE
am sure this is only for fans. rather cheaply produced with few relevant clips of the man singing. however what is impressive is the anecdotes of his old band members which are told with great warmth and sincerity. what a guy!
