    A wonderful romantic film

    This film has not been on dvd before. I bought a Polish copy on ebay a few years ago and it was a video transfer and all the amazing colours were washed out.

    Now at last it appears to have a proper dvd release.

    The film is packed full of some of the best English actors in the world. The direction is superb. Just sit back, open a bottle of red (Italian) wine and watch a classic film that has been neglected for nearly 20 years.You'll probably look up the location after watching this and book a holiday there!! It surpasses Room With A View and is based on an older novel, which it keeps faithfully to.
