    [Highly rated reviewer]

This is quite possibly the poorest film that I have rented. It is hard to say what’s worse, the acting, the script, the special (and I use the term loosely) effects. All are laughable.

This made for TV movie (there’s even pauses where the adverts should be…seriously!) should be confined to a 3am showing channel 5 where it can do as little damage as possible.

Avoid this movie at all costs.

unless it is a deliberate ruse to launder some money. There is nothing - absolutely nothing good to say about this movie. If you're tempted, as I was, to watch it despite (perhaps because of ) the appalling reviews, don't be. They are all true. This derisive, derivative, rubbish is so bad it beggars belief: the whole idea is daft; the plot is about as complex as a knock-knock joke, and the story evolves in awkward jumps and jerks which make no internal sense never mind any actual sense. The movie can't decide if it is going to be action or a slushy love story and does both badly, not helped by wooden acting and direction. The design is risible - how long before someone comes up with a new post-apocalypse vision - we can't go on churning out Bladerunner derivatives for ever surely? What is it with the eternally burning car wrecks; why is it that the good guys always have to live in leaky multi-story car parks? The, tiny, saving grace is that the cinematography is OK. All the rest is shameful.

  • Exactly what you get with a 5 dollar budget

It tries, it really does. But it's that whole hollywood black and white thing again (well that and the budget). The good guy is sooo good and the bad guy is evil (and never as clever)Did I mention it appears to be very low budget for a sci-fi?
