Epic Movie

The twisted minds of two of the six writers of "Scary Movie" tackle the biggest mega-blockbusters of all time in Epic Movie. The story centres on four not-so-young orphans: one raised by a curator at the Louvre (where an albino assassin lurks), another a refugee from Mexican "libre" wrestling, the third a recent victim of snakes on her plane, and the fourth a "normal" resident of a mutant "X"-community. The hapless quartet visits a chocolate factory, where they stumble into an enchanted wardrobe that transports them to the land of Gnarnia (with a G). There they meet a flamboyant pirate captain and earnest students of wizardry - and join forces with, among others, a wise-but-horny lion to defeat the evil White Bitch of Gnarnia.

    Awful !!

Possibly the worst film I have ever seen, Takes the spoof genre to a whole new low. Scenes are very random and most appear irrelevant to the story, the jokes are so poor the barely raise a smile. If you are a fan of spoofs, watch naked gun or the first couple of scary movies again because after viewing this you may well feel robbed!

I WANT MY HOUR AND A HALF BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

News that the BBFC is now classifying films with an eye for discrimination and prejudice, as well as the long-established parameters of sex and violence, is intriguing and welcome, on one level, perplexing and worrying on another. The new rules seem designed to look at a broader social picture, taking in the context and import behind cinematic representations, rather than just focusing on skin and blood. That seems sensible. But of course prejudice and discrimination is often in the eye of the Read more
