Escaflowne - Vol. 4 - Past And Present

The Escaflowne anime series follows the exploits of a young schoolgirl, Hitomi Konzaki, who is an ordinary enough high school student until a column of light transports her to a strange world called Gaea. Hitomi aligns herself with a young knight named Van, whom she saw in a vision prior to being transported, and together they begin a perilous journey with Escaflowne, the legendary god of protection. In these episodes, Hitomi and Van retreat to a temple of warrior monks where the struggle over Gaea continues.
