Strangely addicting
By a customer , 21 May 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
Mom and Dad found 'Escape the Museum' (ETM) strangely addicting once we discovered how to zoom (push/pull Wii remote while pulling the trigger), and we looked forward to making a bit of progress every evening. The 10-year-old thought it was OK a bit at a time. The problem-solving rooms gave a greater sense of satisfaction than those with a simple list of items to find.
Mom liked ETM better than 'Ultimate I Spy', but Dad preferred the latter largely because its graphics were sharper and it allowed rotating the view in 3D, whereas ETM graphics sometimes seemed fuzzy or semi-transparent and allowed only zoom in/out and 2D up/down, left/right movements.
We usually used the 'cheat' of asking for help to identify the approximate location of the last item in each room, and after a while we turned the sound off so that we didn't have to listen to the trite dialogues between rooms.- Was this review helpful to you?

(2)unfortunately disappointing
By GWs (3 reviews) , 26 Apr 2013Very grainy picture made the game unplayable. Got to the first scene of finding objects where we gave up and turned off. Have played much better.- Was this review helpful to you?
