Though it lacks the sublime camp sensibility of THE PRODUCERS this 70's caper, where integrity takes on commercialism at the fag-end of the London film trade, tells a simialr tale. Young idealistic innocent in thrall to an unscrupulous older hand in a robustly played, refreshingly un-PC kitsch classic. Noteworthy appearences from Britpic stalwarts ROY KINNEAR and ROSALIND KNIGHT.
