Very pretty
By AndrewDavie (20 reviews) from Huntingdon , 14 Oct 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
The artwork is fantastic.
But unfortunately, the storyline is a bit too childish for my liking.
A younger player may enjoy it more, but may well miss all the classical music references throughout the game, so I'm still not sure who this game is aimed at.
Gameplay is fine, but not so exciting as to make up for the storyline, so I returned this quite quickly.- Was this review helpful to you?

I Expected Better
By TheOrs (200 reviews) from Southampton , 06 Jul 2009Linear level design, a very slow moving plot and havign a limited amount of heath items during combat hamper this title which otherwise ticks all the right boxes for a good RPG.
The combat is an excellent mix of turnbased strategy and realtime fighting, and there are some really nice inclusions like different attacks depending on whether you stand in sunlight and in shade. The graphics are nice too and suitably manga and cutesey and being able to play as Chopin is a novel touch.
However, this game is limited compared to the likes of Dragon Quest: Journey of the Cursed King, Final Fantasy 12, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 or Rogue Galaxy. I'll be waiting for FF13 and White Knight Chronicles, but this passed a few hours and kind of filled a hole in the mean time but there are much better and more innovative titles out there.- Was this review helpful to you?

It's been a while
By L337LUKE (5 reviews) from Burntwood , 30 May 2009As a lover of great RPG games such as Grandia 2 and the FF series this game was a step in the right direction as far as RPG's go, really pleased that i rented the game, even though the game has not come or been patched for trophies it's still a good play, so i highly reccomend this to anyone who is an RPG fan and doesn't mind putting in the time with this and not just trying to improve their trophy score!- Was this review helpful to you?

Very good JRPG...
By Kazanator (4 reviews) from Scarborough , 03 Mar 2009Story is really engaging and interesting, the whole game is set inside the dream of Chopin who is a clssical musician. The gameplay is really good its a mixture between real time and turn based, you take turns but you fight in real time. The graphics are good, very anime and cutesy. The voices are good but the japanese ones are better. Overall its the best JRPG on PS3 so far so buy it if your lookin for one :D P.S DONT buy enchanted arms its the worst JRPG on the planet.- Was this review helpful to you?
