Eureka Seven - Vol.2
17th May 2007
Rahxephon is my favourite ever anime and anything by Studio Bones always follows within that high tradition and brings forth highter expectations.
Although I loved the character designs and the initial few episodes, there seemed to be a degree of padding - and it felt like this was a 26 episode series that might be drawn out to the 50-odd that make up the full quota.
Those episodes that felt like padding actually end up leaving rather a sweet taste and do add to the love of the characters greatly. It's the action episodes that take the greater slice of the glory, within fantastic direction and advancing the plot.
I was love/hate with Eureka Seven, but it's really starting to get to me. Liking it lots. Volume 3 now please!
