Eureka Seven - Vol.3
1st April 2009
Yet another great volume for a great series. Stunning visuals throughout and a gripping storyline.
A few things of note in this volume though. One of the episodes is very bizarre and confusing as it's largely a dream sequence mixed with moments of other people in the real world. It can be a little confusing, and it seems somewhat pointless, but it's enjoyable.
The other thing to be aware of is that episode 14 (the first episode with the second opening and ending music) is, more or less, a 'review episode'. There's a little new stuff at the end, but the episode can probably be skipped as there's nothing particularly new. If you've been watching slowly over a long period (like when it was broadcast on TV in Japan) then it would have been necessary to catch up.
All in all, a very good volume with a couple of quibbles. 4 stars.
