Two leading musical innovators, Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, collaborated as the Eurythmics to make great New Wave music throughout the 1980s. On this fantastic release, they perform all of their hits and display their uncommon visual sense. The collection includes "Sweat Dreams," "Love Is a Stranger," "Who's That Girl Read more

This stunning DVD has the best part of a decade of hits. Annie Lennox's incomparable vocal qualities and songwriting skills coupled with the 'dancy' edge that Dave Stewart seemed to provide in the Eurythmics makes a feast for the ears, let alone the eyes. This DVD does contain one or two tracks not found on the greatest hits CD - I Love to Listen to Beethoven is possibly my favourite Eurythmics track of all time but is a much better experience when you see the video. It has a couple of clips from the 'Savage' video album, in fact (well worth getting a 2nd hand copy of).
Lennox gives Michael Jackson a run for his money when it comes to image and re-invention - the video for who's that girl has Bananarama, Cheryl Baker, and Dave Stewart kissing Maralyn for example!
You'll never get bored with this and the diversity and consitency of quality shown throughout the DVD can only remind you just how good the Eurythmics were. Everything on this DVD sound fresh and relevant today as it did at the time.
WORTH A LOOK AND RE-LIVE THE 80'S TYPE OF STUFF.
ANNIE & DAVE AT THEIR BEST - ALL THE GREATEST VIDEOS AT A TIME WHEN THE 'VIDEO PROMO' WAS AN ADDITION TO THE PROMOTION OF A BANDS ALBUM -
NOW IT'S SECOND NATURE TO HAVE A DVD ALBUM OR CONCERT FOOTAGE
[VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR !].
[..AND DVD THE SAME TO VIDEO !!!! ]
A great collection of videos of the excellent eurythmics, from the eighties but hardly dated at all.
All the hits you expect
As you would expect a superb collection of their past work. I actually bought this on VHS (in the good ol' days) and was interested to see the difference in quality the DVD had to offer. No great differnce really and as there were no menu functions I suspect that this collection was merely transfered from a VHS master, nevertheless this makes for compelling viewing. This hits collection has much more content than the latest compilation 'Ultimate Collection'.

all the superlatives, as already stated on previous reviews.
the best music dvd i've seen so far
oi'l give it five, i don't often give 5 stars.
This will be in my Christmas wish list.
I grew up listening to this and it's not aged at all.
Annie Lennox has one of the best voices in the world.
The songs on this DVD are the best not just the best of the Eurythmics but some of the best songs ever.
Watch, Listen and Enjoy.
Nothing special here except for one or two songs. Not bad though either.
absolutly brilliant love this band like i loved the 80's
a good music cd to listen and watch
