This is definately a chick flick. The female members of the family really enjoyed watching this new spin on a old fairy tale. Although still set in the period, it updates the cinderella story by portraying women with intelligence and independance. The design of the production is beautiful and the quality of the acting adds depth. Excellent viewing.
