The story of Cinderella but in 16th century France. A strong, determined young woman fights her evil stepmother and sister and her love for the prince.
A cute and enduring tale with moments of humour and love. The scenery was quite stunning and the costumes spot on for this period.
Drew Barrymore's attempt at the English accent (yes even though this is set in France) and act at the same time was a little questionable but all in all an enjoyable Disneyesque family film.
