Most helpful review
One of those magical BBC Sitcoms, one of the very best.
By roncoach (369 reviews) from suffolk , 31 Jul 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
This is the BBC and British Sitcom at their best.
IMHO it is also Richard Briers best TV role in his long and illustrious career. Better even than The Good Life which was also written by TV stalwarts Esmonde and Larbey.
But full credit goes to the 4 regular supporting actors, without whom the 2 series could not have been such a success.
This sitcom has the magic ingredients that cannot be listed, otherwise all sitcoms would share the same sort of cult status.
It is so British, so clever and so very very funny.
If you missed it, I highly recommend it.- Was this review helpful to you?

An all time great
By Michael Mayo from Fareham, Hants , 26 May 2006It may be old but Ever Decreasing Circles was and still is one of the best comedy sitcoms. The comic timing brought together by some great actors really has been hard to beat. It is worth seeing all of the 3 series just to remember how funny they were and still are. Well worth the watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

Much better than I remembered
By a customer from Northampton , 29 Nov 2005In my late teens when this came out I never understood why this was so popular. Now I'm older (unfortunately) and wiser.- Was this review helpful to you?
