Virtual Summit Attempt

Russel Brice takes the climbers (and the viewers of this programme) on an emotional and spectacular journey to the Summit of Everest. The camera work is beyond any that has been carried out before on this mountain, mainly because there is pure footage all the way to the top. Cameras have been strapped to the heads of the Sherpas, therefore viewers can get up close and personal, to experience the summit acheivement themselves. The views are fantastic!! This series really does show how much the Sherpas do for climbers on that mountain, and how, for some people, their lives depend on the help given by the Sherpas.

The only reason I didn't give this series 5/5 is because quite a few scenes are repeated throughout and by the end you can pretty much recite it word for word! But for any mountaineer or climbing enthusiast, this is a must watch!
