Lovely and heartwarming. You get drawn in from the very start!!

All I can say is each episode draws you in makes you laugh and quite often cry, but in a GOOD way, as you become involved in all the different charactors lives. I've been waiting for the 3rd series to come (originally saw it on sky) for far too long as they are much further ahead in america!!

But I assure you it's well worth giving it a try and you will soon be hooked.

Treat Williams is great as Dr Andy Brown and you really get into his charactor as a brilliant New York Neuro Surgeon, who goes to a small town to honour his deceased wife because she one day confessed she had always dreamed of one day living the Perfect life there because as a child she had passed through the idyllic town of Everwood. She had made him promise if she died he would take their children there to live. He never realised he would have to keep the promise.

But in keeping the promise he actually gets emotionally involved with the patients he treats and with a real community and all that that entails, it makes for very compelling viewing!!

Even my husband was hooked!!
