But does everybody want it?
By nated23 (175 reviews) from Birmingham , 21 Apr 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Everybody loves everybody's golf. But will the same formula make a tennis game everybody will enjoy? Well.....almost but not quite. You see, it really is exactly the same formula as before. It's cute, certainly, with likeable characters, but while plinky plonky piano music works nicely for a golf game, it's too laid back for a fast, hard-hitting action of the court. Its's just too.....Sunday afternoon. Also,in a bid to appeal to everybody, the difficulty level is down to 'kiddy'. After taking one game to get used to the controls. I didn't lose another for hours. Of course, this doesn't matter in multi-player, but with so much of the game needing to be unlocked, giving up a few hours of your life to get more characters without being stretched at all can feel shallow. But it's no chore- this is a charming game. Learning how to hit good shots is fun, and the cartoon noise bubbles which say 'dink' or 'rustle',like in everybody's golf are hard not to smile at. Graphically, it's rock solid and mostly appealing despite the basic looks. It's just too easy but a worthwhile companion to Virtua tennis 2.- Was this review helpful to you?

Smashing Out Of Court
By Daniel Thompson from Gainsborough, England , 04 Oct 2007Overall, Everybodys Tennis is quite an entertaining game offering a few hours of play and mix that with multiplayer options the game isnt that bad. With a unique style compared to most tennis games today Everybodys Tennis can be played by absolutely anybody meaning it can appeal to loads of different gamers out there. However with its lack of differing modes and short playing time, it really isnt worth a competitive edge compared to greater games. Whilst fun for a while, it rapidly becomes repetitive and should be played by beginners only or at least gamers looking for a few hours to waste away with friends.- Was this review helpful to you?
