A contemporary re-telling of the Book of Exodus, set in a near future Margate, England. Moses lives in the Promised Land with his father, the populist politician Pharoah, who has ordered that all undesirables should live in a shanty town called Dreamland. Upon reaching adulthood Moses discovers the truth of his birth mother, a poor Romany woman from Dreamland. He visits the town but tragedy strikes when he is involved in a fracas with the guard and he is forced to become one of the undesirables. However in time Moses will lead a radical campaign to liberate the people of Dreamland and so begins the Exodus...
