A perspective

A beautifully photographed film, that has many elegant touches and some excellent performances, especially the beautiful Hedy Lamarr, who surely from these frames qualifies as one of the most attractive women Hollywood has ever filmed. Paul Lukas, as dependable as ever, there is something to his acting and demeanor that portrays sinister with ease and George Brent, not as widely remembered as perhaps he deserves provides a solid performance that is both believable and professional.
The film, is a quiet thriller with beautiful backdrops and nice little characterizations and very elegant people. A film if not seen is worth seeing and certainly does not fit into an easy category. Recommended- Was this review helpful to you?
