Never one to rest on his laurels, comedy guru Ricky Gervais has added to the excitement surrounding this weekend's Bafta Television Awards by revealing he plans to film a scene for his series of Extras during the ceremony. The Office creator will be putting a temporary hold on gong proceedings to assume his Extras persona of Andy, a failed actor, and no doubt add to the hilarity of the night. British comic genius Ricky Gervais believes his career peaked with his cameo on worldwide cartoon favourite The Simpsons.
