The creators of 'The Office' have struck gold again.
A televisual comedy masterclass.
Gervais is marvellous.
Very Very Funny, especially the cringe worthy sketches where they really put their foot in it.
***ALL EPISODES ARE ON DISC 1, THERE IS ONLY DELETED SCENES ETC ON DISC 2***

I can only conclude that this -overrated- series has some sort of Faustian subplot: that the boredom and frustration you experience as the viewer is meant to equate that of Ricky Gervais's central character. I only made it through one and a half episodes: even 'well known and loved actors' such as, uh, Ross Kemp and Ben Stiller sending themselves up couldn't alleviate the utter tedium.
A better than average comedy series.
Gervais play the extra Andy, who is a lot more likeable than Brent from The Office.
While each episode has comedy throughout, the real memorable moments are the cameo performances, and I found Ben Stiller's part was my favourite.
I was initially disappointed that I'd bothered to get disc two, because all episodes are actually on disk one, however these deleted scenes, interviews, etc are actually worth watching.
Ricky Gervais is absolutely halarious starring in the excellent comedy where they get top celebrities to appear in, just so they can take the mick out of them, it will have you laughing constantly!

Personally I could have lived without the endless cackling and guffawing during the outtakes, the smugness of the interviews, and the spectacle of him amusingly 'bullying' one poor member of his staff (what else do you call wrapping them in cellotape or dressing them as a baby then pointing and laughing?)
Watch and enjoy the show itself because it's quaility stuff, but unless you are the biggest Ricky Gervais fan then this 'insight' will undoubtedly get on your nerves.
Personally I could never get into 'The Office', but this series is just fantastic. It features celebrities doing cameos in each episode, and for the most part Gervais has them acting like complete idiots (Ross Kemp and Vinnie Jones were brilliant).
This is a must-see for just about anyone, I can't reccomend it highly enough. The acting is superb, and the direction from Gervais and Marchment crisp, fast and above all funny.
Great stuff
Dont expect another 'office' type programme from Ricky-it isnt anything like you have seen before on any comedy show.Rest assured that you will be in tears from laughing so much after watching this especially the episode with Kate Winslett! A brilliant performance from ricky Gervais and Stephen Mercahnt and all others involved. This will no doubt add another dozen or so comedy awards to his already massive collection. The special features at the end are also some of the best on a DVD at the moment and give good interviews with Ricky and Stephen and also another hilarious bit where they try to contact Lionardo D'caprio. That will win an award in itself I would have thought! In short, this is some of the best british comedy produced over the last 10 years.I defy anyone not to laugh at this and applaude the comic genius of Ricky Gervais and Stephen merchant!
This series, in my humble opinion, is just as good (if not better!) than Gervais' The Office ..
A bold statment, but backed-up by this series being hilariously funny .. Best of the six, in my view, are those with Les Dennis, Sam Jackson and Kate Winslet ..
A shout must also go out for Stephen Merchant, playing Andy's (Gervais) incompetent agent .. Superb!!
The first episode left me a little at a loss over what david Brent was doing becoming a extra and where exactly Rickt Gervais was going with this new series, the second had me in fits and by the 3rd I was totally addicted. I was gutted when I finished episode 6 and even more gutted when disc 2 arrived and instead of having 6 more episodes had just outtakes!
Well!! What was the old brentmaister worrying about so much, with his 'second album' ?!!! This Series is absolutley fantastic, there is not one episode i think i can single out as my favourite,as they all made me crack up with laughter.Don't watch these too late at night,or you'll wake the street up! Long live Merchant & Gervais. ( well, alright,my favourite scene is the telephone sex with Kate Winslett)
