    Good goal!

the dvd is well presented, i particularly enjoyed the way that they introduce the goals from each section and you were able to follow the tournamentas each group progressed.

this contnued all the way through to the final. all in all a well thought out momento of this world cup.

    certainly worth a watch.

All the goals of World Cup 2006

This DVD was largely dissapointing as it did exactly what it said on the front cover and literally nothing more. It does show all the goals that were scored in the tournament but there is no story, build up or drama. Games that finished 0-0 were completely overlooked- not that they were considered classics, but they were part of the tournament as a whole and in my opinion should have been briefly covered. For example, the Sweden Vs Trinidad and Tobago game in which the swedes missed a catalogue of chances was particularly entertaining, even for a goaless draw but was not even mentioned. Poor Shaka Hislop!

In the final game in which Zinedine Zidane was infamously sent off, his headbutting on Materazzi wasnt even shown. This was probably the most poignant and memorable moment of the whole tournament and was not seen!

Also, for the many penalty shootouts through out the tournament they only show selective penalties instead of all of them, leaving people confused as to whats happening.

Ive looked for an alternative Dvd of the tournament, which would be more of a review of the tournament, but with no joy. Im guessing they thought that this effort was enough. IT'S NOT!
