Cage and Travolta at their best
By ButtonMasher (14 reviews) from London , 30 Dec 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
This is a top action/suspense movie that all Cage and Travolta fans will love.
Travolta is a police officer after slick criminal Cage. When captured Cage is in a coma and so cops are unable to find out the location of a hidden bomb he is known to have planted.
Secretly Cage's is face is removed and put on Travolta so that he can convince Cage's brother (in prison) to reveal the location of the bomb.
Things start going horribly wrong when the real cage awakes from his coma and takes Travolta's face.
Travolta is now in an impossible situation. He is stuck in prison with Cage's face and everyone that knows the truth is dead except for his enemy the real Cage who is taking over his life.
Can Travolta get out of prison to stop the bomb and save his family?- Was this review helpful to you?

(83)You know you want to watch it again.
By Kisaca (2 reviews) , 19 Feb 2013I love this film now as much as I did the first time I watched it. Of course, there are parts that are full of cheese and it can be predictable, but it is still a good watch. One of the best that Cage and Travolta have done.- Was this review helpful to you?

Absolutely Brilliant
By colourful_angel (2 reviews) , 05 Jan 2013This is a high octane action movie. Expect vilonce and a lot of swearing. If that is not your idea of a good movie then I would steer clear. The combination that is Travolta and Cage, is brilliant. The premise of the film, is basically borowing a man's face so that he can get a job. What he didn't expect, was for the guy to wake up and take his. This is a type of film, that from the moment you start watching there's action. Unlike a lot of films, the action starts from the very begining and keep you on the edge of your seat from the begining. Would I recommend this, yes.- Was this review helpful to you?

Face Value??
By laneyb (256 reviews) from Rochester, Kent , 09 Nov 2012This film brings a whole new meaning to the phrase...Take a person at face value!! John Travolta and Nicolas Cage go together perfectly in this. They played their roles to a tee. So perfectly funny as Castor Troy. All the cast were great even little David McCurley as Adam, such a sweetie!
I must mention the special effects team and stunt team too...all fantastic.- Was this review helpful to you?
