Or you can rent each disc individually:
this dvd is superb. it has 4 classic fairy tale episodes, but are put into a modern setting.
the episodes are:
Rapunzel - An adaptation of the fairytale of the same name, it resets Rapunzel as Billy Jane Brooke (Charity Wakefield), a tennis player with an overprotective mother-manager. She meets fellow tennis player Jimmy Stojkovic (Lee Ingleby), and he falls in love with her. However, there is one problem - Jimmy is an untalented male player whose manager has forced him to dress as a woman to enter the female seeds.
Cinderella - Cindy Mellor is a cleaner at a university but desperately wants to study anthropology. When Professor HM Prince comes to lecture, he announces that hes preparing for an expedition to Borneo, and is in search of a female assistant. He is intent on proving his acclaimed theory on the primary role of the male in human evolution. No one is more passionate about anthropology than Cindy, but is there any chance that the assistants job could be given to the cleaner? Professor Brooks, an ambitious lecturer who heads up the department, is determined that one of her students gets the job, either the gorgeous Fenola or the brainy Phoebe.
The Empress's New Clothes - soap star Michaela (played by Denise Van Outen) is slavish to fashion, to an extraordinarily high degree, and hell bent on outshining her co-star and arch-rival Shekeelia (played by Koel Purie) at the Silver Sphere Awards, the highlight in the soap opera calendar.
Billy Goat - Billy Goat, is a boy band made up of brothers Connor (played by Paul Nicholls) and Dean Gruff (played by Mathew Horne) and friend Rafiq Bhavani (played by Nick Mohammed). They enjoy local success in Northern clubs but crave pastures new and fame and fortune.
However, there is one major stumbling block, their manager is a troll. In this world, trolls live side-by-side with humans and Billy Goat are unfortunate enough to have bagged a canny and threatening troll as their manager, Grettongrat, played by Bernard Hill.
well worth renting out.
