We had been waiting a few weeks fo rthis film to arrive as the trailer promised so much...

From the first scenes of the soon to be late father playing handball I felt the film lost its way! Was it a comedy or a drama? The film kept trying, though not very hard, at being funny but only once or twice actually made us laugh. Some of the best bits of the film were not exploited enough like the adult shop where mom worked at or the scene with the dog that needed CPR.

We never really got to find out much about the characters and the relationship between the family members never really got established. Snoop never really got his character to really blend in either which is a shame as it could have been the hightlight of the film.

It made a good Wednesday night film to fill in the gaps between TV but would have been very disappointed if it was the film we had settled down with on Saturday with a pizza and wine :(

Best scene actually came in the closing titles!

I waited so long for this film and felt a little disappointed, just your run of the mill ordinary film.

  • Sweet RomCom!

This little movie is quite a Charmer.

Nothing really special or exciting but sweet and adorable nonetheless!!

Especially the idea of the relationship between a rich girl and a working class boy and then when the working class boy decides that the rich girl is out of the boys league.

Usually you see RomCom's with the opposite plot, like the Rich decide the Poor is not good enough.

Anyway, this is an entertaining little film with some really great characters to swoon and sigh with!

This has the potential to be a nice B movie romcom, but it doesn't hit the mark at all. In fact I can say that I didn't notice anything happen throughout the film. The plot doesn't develop and you can pretty much predict one scene to the next. Avoid this one, it's a turd of a film.
