Fame Costs . . . (well what else could you put for the heading!)By a customer from Guildford, Surrey , 29 Aug 2006
[Highly rated reviewer]Great journey back in my childhood. The early seasons of Fame were very watchable. The oringinal cast of Gene Anthony Ray, Lee Curreri and Erica Gimpel brought an energy to the series. Watching this now it is obviously very 80's and to be honest a little cheesy, but hey who cares - and maybe if more series like this were made (instead of the dreaded X factor) then more children would be dancing around living rooms instead of sitting on their backsides!!

Fantastic Fame!By CrazyHayley (1 review) from Essex , 26 Apr 2010It was still as good as I remembered it - though I watched repeats as I'm 28 so a baby when it was first aired. Obviously the clothing and music style are now no longer 'current' - but saying that it's still very watchable and highly enjoyable. Much more realistic than any of the school musical style 'cheese' that has come out in recent years for the latest generations. It is amazing and inspiring to see people with real true talent enjoying themselves and sending that energy out on screen for us to enjoy.

Fame Series 1-fantasticBy a customer from Isleworth , 15 Jun 2009This bought me back to my childhood and amazing how issues covered are still real even today. The dancing is just fantastic and despite the years that have passed it is still vibrant, timeless and classic. A must watch for anyone into choreography, music and dance.
